I personally run these, they angle up on the bottom towards the outside to help with lean angle...I don't like a lot of Kuryakn stuff (generally not my taste) but they nailed it with these IMO...

https://www.kuryakyn.com/products/5124/riot-mini-boards

I still manage to scrape them even with the 14" shocks but very rarely...

Thanks for the replies everyone. I am not sure the bear trap style is for me. Gonna look into the XR1200 pegs and see what’ up.

I'm running the wider Mushman Large Serrated MX pegs made by Biltwell on my Dyna's and FXR in polished finish-which I clear coated with Dupont Poly Coat and used Stainless Allen Head Bolts and nylock nuts to mount em .I stand up alot on my bikes before, during and after wheelies ( a Moto-Cross racer habit thats hard to break-but also has it's advantages in seeing beyond cars parked or stopped at lights and intersections ) . I highly recommend the Biltwell units, but theres many others as well that will work the same and probably @ the same or close to the same price range .

Speed Merchant makes pegs that mimic ( look alot LIKE ) that XR style serrated MX style footpeg as well . A narrow but highly aggressive serration style footpeg is not only safer and more "aesthetically" appealing - as well as securing yoiur boot or sneaker to the peg itself, but it's a "utilitarian" modification ( one that'll be utilized and taken advantage of - besides giving you more confidence in foot placement and "tucking in,digging INTO The Peg" and closing your knees tighter around the bike itself and maneuver" in whatever scenario you'll need. YES I'm an aesthetics dude as well-they have to look good, appealing or attractive-but a sure footing grip and a fine tuned suspension are all a PLUS that make you more confident in the bikes handling and your footing and comfort as well .Hope this long winded opinion helped you out.

You want pegs for aggressive riding? Check out Shred Moto Co. Their shed pegs are what you really need. Just like adjustable rear sets that let you lift the pegs higher. That’s what those do. They’re getting dynas set up for the track with sport bikes. The guy you see in the video, his name is Zach. On IG you can find him by the name Nationallmotors. Super cool guy, and a SERIOUSLY wicked rider. I’ve met him a few times, but just can’t keep up. He’s extremely talented. Good leg with the right set up. Those shred pegs should solve your problems!!

Wanted to give everyone an update. I did pickup a set of XR pegs for my LRS. I did change out the “wear peg” with the stock one that came with my rubber pegs. All is good and cost me $27 vice all the recommendations of $150 and up. I really do appreciate the advice though.
