Not sure what you get with that swing arm.. Maybe looks? The stock swing-arm is likely pretty stiff the way it's triangulated. As beefy as the aluminum one is, I doubt you see much weight savings.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. Other than potential patent issues or looks, why not just make an alloy or carbon version of the stocker? Maybe do some refinement here and there for unsprung weight and stiffness but the stock triangle is gonna be hard to beat for function.

I'm disagreeing. I don't care if the 2018 Softail's mono-shock is an improvement. It's ugly and does not look like a Super Glide. At that point, I might as well go "full retard" and get some bang for my buck, hence, Sport Bike. Looks nothing like a Dyna, but offers a billion times more performance.
