Hello bike owners. I just picked up a 2016 Dyna Street Bob and I'm going to need a temporary bag solution so I can carry a few things like an iPhone and a water bottle. I don't want to spend a lot of money on that stuff yet as I can see making some changes down the road (next spring) to the rear fender, license plate bracket, and exhaust which could impact any saddle solution. I already got an adapter for USB for the charging pig tail. I typically carry a back pack because I like to keep a DSLR with me when I make trips.
I used a Givi Easy-T when i needed a little extra space. they're about 50 bucks and use magnets. It comes with straps to secure the front, but that isn't really necessary unless the bag is overloaded or you doing some extremely spirited riding.
The only thing is to make sure tank/magnet part is clean when you put it on. I've heard if you trap dirt/debris between them it can cause small scratches. I haven't experience that, but i'm extremely diligent keeping things clean.
