Default Another Dual Disk Thread

So I'm fixing to finish the Dual conversion on my 08 street bob. Foregoing the T under the triple tree and opting for 2 separate lines. I checked Big Al's and TMF Cycles for their kits and it seems to be cheaper to just buy 2 separate Lines and a double banjo bolt. Ive looked all over the forums and can't seem to get a definitive answer. Below are the links to the pieces I believe I will need, I just wanted to get some more incite. Ive already got a new set of fork lowers and the 2nd caliper as well as the 11/16 master cylinder.

Drag Specialties Extended Stainless Front Line 44" x 2

Goodridge Double Banjo Bolt

Just wanted to confirm these would be the correct lines.

The banjo bolt looks right. I can't comment on the 44" line length but I would expect the left line to be several inches longer than the right. That is, unless you intend to hide or overlook some slop on the right.

I used a tee, so that's the best I got.

Thanks for the info nonetheless.

I used the guide based on the TMF site for their kit. I believe the extra length is to compensate for the further distance. I could as you said hide the extra or just not care like most of the rest of my bike. She aint pretty.

You can closely estimate the correct line length by using some small diameter hose like 1/4" OD vacuum line or even aquarium air line. Just mock it up as you want with the hose and measure the result. Don't forget to account for the banjos.
