took my quick detach windsheild off today to do some major cleaning and found one of my quick clamps broken. does anyone know if you can buy just one and where, knowing my luck will have to buy new windsheild
Had problems with loose drift pins that clamp pivots on. I've had them fall out.
I had the same problem. I let a buddy try the windshield on his 2004 Dyna. After about 20 miles we stopped to get gas and I when I went to put the windshield back on my bike I lost one of the pins.
I went to the local home center and bought a bunch of extra pins which I carry on the bike. I also took some 3m self adhesive plastic and used a hole punch to punch out bits of the plastic and stuck one over each drift pin hole.
