Default FP3 possibly messing with other electronic functions...

Just wondering if anyone has experienced odd things after installing an FP3.

For example, my indictators no longer auto cancel, and 1 out of 5 or 6 starts the motor shuts down after 3 or 4 seconds and throws a P1010 code (missing password between tsm and ecm). It immediately starts again with no probs.

Only noticed this since the FP3 was installed.

I read elsewhere on the forum that the p1010 code often pops up after a SERT flash, but not seen anything about FP3.

Never noticed a thing on mine and I’ve had two of them on two different bikes.

Have you contacted V&H about this? The techs are pretty good.

i had the same issue with the Fp3 with the missing password to ecm -tsm but one of the updates last year cleared that up. I now have an issue with autotune which it refuses to actually learn passed 25% tps and never green plus keeps saying engine too cold 3.0. I tried going into advance settings and dropping autotune temp to 150f but still remains. I still need to call vance and Hines over this again (4th time still no resolve) however V&H sent me a new fp3 thinking that mine was malfunctioning but the New one never resolved this problem . Anyways I know you have different problems than mine but make sure your phone app is updated and the fp3 itself has recent update . Another way to see if fp3 is interfering is to unhook it and take a ride and if problem doesn’t seem to exist then it’s probably that, but if it still remains then something else is going on.
