Default 2002 Wide Glide build

Just ordered the 98" fuel moto kit and have a few questions, hopefully some carb guys still around. In lieu of the 98 kit I obviously need some other enhancements. I was thinking a Mikuni 42 kit and already ordered a pingel single outlet no vac petcock. What ignition would anyone recommend? I was looking into dynatek, trying to do this on a budget. Also need to beef up the valve springs for the 555-6r cams. Budget in mind just swapping valve springs and a little die grinding probably? Also wanna convert to chain drive and was looking into the zippers kits seem to have everything needed for a decent price. Also I'm in Colorado so this combo will run at mile high altitude. Any tips or advice is appreciated! Thanks!

forgot to add, not the bike in my profile. Its a 2002 FXDWG with about 33,000 and my tensioners were scary low so she's getting a boob job and should run well

The stock CV will work fine with a few very inexpensive mods. Do you know what your compression ratio will be ? I used the Dynatech on mine and it works great.

I still want to switch to the mikuni even if its just for easy reliability. CR says 10:1 on the kit. And which dynatek do you have? I was looking at the tc88 on ebay and a couple similar ones.

I used the Twin Tec TC88. Just curious, why would you think the Mikuni is more reliable ?

At your altitude with the Mik, any significant change in altitude when riding is gonna mess with your jetting/tuning, unlike the CV. CV40 will easily support 100hp, so if you absolutely have to have a bigger, "better" carb, you can pick up a CV44 for ~$250 new. CVs are also dirt simple to tune.
