Default Odd Squeak...

Bike developed a weird squeak chirping noise 2 days ago, It starts after about 15 minutes of riding.

Its definitely wheel or drive train related as it is never present when the bike is standing still. Doesn't go away if brakes are applied so doubt its the rotors or calipers, Doesn't change if I pull in the clutch or pop the bike into neutral while moving.
Its not the belt, I know that sound far to well and this sounds like its coming from the front, though I can't be certain.
I don't believe it to be suspension related as it would probably be evident from the start.
No power loss or feeling of friction or drag when the noise occurs.
Im mentally going thru an elimination process, anyone else have any ideas of what else I could check.

Thinking it might be a wheel bearing that is protesting after it warms up for 10 - 15 minutes.

I hate chasing weird noises, PITA!

I’d say wheel bearing is a good place to start, brake pads also.

Try to think of things that change when they warm up, metal mostly right? So maybe a heat shield? Wheel bearings tend to be consistent but it’s a possibility....horn cover or mount? Coil mount? Things like that...just throwing ideas out there...

Try and take a video of it making the noise. That would help us to pin point it

I had a strange squeeking noise for a long time also on my bike. Thought it was a worm clamp on the heat shield rubbing the long rod on the rear brake...it turned out that was a different squeek, got that one fixed, but the other one, the one that annoyed the most was still there.

Took me about 5 months to figure out what it was, and it was an accident finding it as I was working on the bike one day. Turned out to be that the tongue on the front of my seat was bent down just slightly enough that the seat moved about a 1/16 of an inch all the time. That was enough movement to keep giving the squeek.

I took my 30 year old 24 oz Estwing, gave the tongue a tap, tried the fit, gave it another tap, and voila...no more squeek.

Mine started to chirp. It needed wheel bearings and also every tooth on the rear belt was split almost the whole way through.

Let the bike warm up without moving it, see if the chirp is still there... or, does it only chirp when moving?

Only Chirps when in motion, but its also inconsistent. Doesn't matter what speed, gear or revs. It just randomly starts makes a noise for about 5 - 10 secs then goes away. Comes back again randomly, usually after 2 or 3 minutes then goes away again. Sometimes it'll chirp or squeak one time then nothing for 20 minutes.

Sounds like its coming from the front half of the bike. Had the front wheel off the ground earlier today and it spins freely and no lateral movement. That doesn't mean the bearings aren't protesting under load when sitting on the ground though.

I did find this, red loctite and re torqued, not the source of the sound though....

Try checking the torque on your exhaust flange nuts. Also check the condition of those nuts.. .if they are corroded, you could have an exhaust leak, and it 'could' whistle at ya... just a thought.
