Wait, I thought the SE comp was standard before '14. I'm almost positive my '13 came with SE.

If you have Cush drive on the rear wheel, elimination of the compensator shouldn’t be a problem.

If your compensator isn't worn, you probably will be fine by just replacing the spring pack, I had to replace mine a few weeks ago because it was weak, the compensator itself had zero wear.
