Cleaning Powder Coat On The Engine Case??

Hey guys, I was wondering what you use to clean the silver powder coat on your engine case. Iâ€™ve used â€œGunk Degreaserâ€ and I still have these spotty oil shapes around my case and I would like to get it looking new again. Any advice would be great.

I use a product called Spray 9 for cleaning everything except chrome.

most black spots can be removed with brake cleaner and your wifes toothbrush ...... oops - since you seem to have a nice looking SG Custom in your living room - perhaps you don't have a wife and will have to use your own toothbrush?

Damn Night_Train01!!! I just read up on Spray 9 and that stuff is hardcore. Hell that stuff even kill Herpes!! JK How would you rate it in getting your case completely clean?

Spray 9 Kills Viruses (Contact Time 30 Seconds):

* Influenza A2 Virus associated with common flu
* Rhinovirus Type 37 associated with upper respiratory tract illnesses including common cold
* Respiratory Syncytial Virus associated with respiratory illnesses - especially in children under 12
* Adenovirus Type 2 associated with upper respiratory infections, tonsillitis, conjunctivitis
* Herpes Simplex Type 1 associated with fever blisters, mononucleosis
* Herpes Simplex Type 2 associated with genital disease
* HIV-1 associated with AIDS
