Default Seat lowering modification ?

I find I really love the look of my Lucky Daves seat but I also think I would be happier sitting a bit lower and farther back (they put you up about an inch over stock). Anyone had any good success having their seat professionally modified or am I better off just buying a custom one and selling the LD?

I would like to think that these types of seats are set up really well from the factory.. I am sure a profession seat type person might be able to get you where you want to go but what if they don't..meaning its worse off then stock...If it was me, I would sell it and get what you want,

should have gone with a c&c custom seat! all of their pans start off an inch lower and an inch further back. then from there you can customize it.

Yeah I'm starting to think so. I didn't realise the change of feel I would get with the Lucky Dave's. It's good but a bit more tall bar hooligan and less drag bar racer feel. Taken a while to place it, just not sure it will be the feel I'm looking for in the end.

You can contact Mean City Cycles and they’ll modify your seat to your measurements.
