I was not business savvy enough to act timely on it, I believe I legally lost the rights to it (as much as I wanted a patent- and excuse my lack of humility but although they are meager things that any caveman could have made they didn't, I did and again, excuse my lack of humility but I wanted my name on it-[when a person does something sometimes they want to mar their name on the wall to let others know they were there) by not being quick enough on the draw. Now, nobody can patent it
Yes!!!! Hey Qdog, how are you, hope all is well! Well, mostly here I guess Working on something else to mar a wall with if I can motivate myself to finish it, non bike related though.
How's the bike running?
Excellent thanks, but I still have not purchased that RW front fender like yours. I have been toying with the idea of trading in for the new Heritage 114. Test rode one and I just love the ergonomics of it. Needs more chrome though, not into the blacked out look.
Antonio, here are some pics that might help, and anyone for that matter, the shield is easy enough to build. I think mine is around 3/16's aluminum, heat it gently and make your bends. (After you have layed on your back making the template over and over again to get it just right [make sure it clears the swing arm]).
The deflector is half of it, use nuts on 1/4" bolts to create the space between the shield and the bag to provide airflow between them.
Drill the holes one at a time (first two anyway), I used some sealant [maybe high temp but don't remember] in each hole in the bottom of the bag. I can't find a pic of the inside of the bag at the moment but can take one if you need.

leatherpros all leather verision with the Bassani rr3 hi hp model which has more upsweep compared to the standard. No issues though I did install some lava mat beneath the heat shielding for extra protection
