Default New Dyna owner here.....

Ok, ive been looking around on the Dyna forum for awhile and i finally got my bike. I ordered it from Overseas Car Sales over here in Iraq around February. Its a 2007 Dyna Street Bob. I came home on leave in the middle of June and picked it up in Rogers, AR. The good news was, Rogers was 270 miles from my home town of Paragould, AR. I got to ride my bike 270 miles the first day i picked it up, and if any of you guys have ever rode through the north part of Arkansas its not that bad of a ride. Nice twisty road, not a whole lot of traffic, and covered with trees and hills. I managed to put 600 miles on it in the week i had it at home (got a realy nice sunburn to prove it). I also got to ride it to Union City, Tn, where i found a great dealership called Abernathy's. Purchased a badlander 2 up seat and some passenger pegs (so i could ride the wife and kids on it) while i was there. So far the seat and the pegs are all ive done to it, but after spending many days looking at this site, i have many, many ideas of what i want to do.

I'm a first time Harley owner, havnt owned a bike in 15 years. I realy enjoyed the 600 miles i got to put on it. And of course when i wasnt riding it, i was looking at it or washing it.

I tried to post some pics, but my internet sux over here. Cant get em to upload.

And also thanks too all the folks on this site for all the good info and tips. I look forward to buggin u guys for help in the future. And maybe helpin some myself.

Congrats on your new ride. Glad you found Abernathy's. They are a great bunch of folks up there in Union City. Its where I bought my 03 Wide Glide. Thanks for your sacrifices so we can keep doing what we do here stateside. I am not far from where you live so when you get back maybe we can hook up and ride.
