I just installed my further forward mids last weekend. I wanted to powder coat the chrome but they were almost a month out for turnaround. I did a long ride yesterday and can honestly say that's how the bike should have came. I've never really had comfort issues, but my pant legs would sometimes catch on the peg when coming to a stop. Anyway, these are way more comfy than the standard for me, 5'10" w/32 inseam, and it just feels right. It's amazing what moving forward 2" can do!
One thing I ran into was that I had to adjust my brake pedal down a little further than I wanted to deal with clearance of my D&D Fat Cat header pipe. Does anyone know or recommend a BMX style pad I could bolt on top of my brake pedal? I don't mind drilling a mount hole through my pedal to make it work.
