2016 street bob. Running lights and turn signals work but no brake lights. Doesn't matter if I use hand or foot brake, I have no brake lights. Checked three main three fuses, they are fine.

Check the bulbs. Dual filament. Possible to have one burn out and leave the running lights working .

Yep, I got the same ones on mine. One filament runs the turn signal and running lights, the other one in the bulb does the brake lights. I've had the filament that runs the brake lights go out but not the second one that does the turn signal/ running lights.

Might not be it but it's where I would start. There is a slot on the taillight lens that you can twist a screw driver gently in. It will easily pop off. Push and turn the bulb and it will pop out. The filaments look like bridges between two sticks, if its popped it will be dangling or rattling around in the bulb.

The bulbs on my bike seem to last 7000 miles or so. The non Harley ones significantly less.

^^^^ Start simple. If it isn't bulbs, break out the multi meter and check for voltage in the sockets.

Check the wiring under the fender. I've seen multiple bikes where the rear tire has come into contact with the wiring and caused a short. As already stated, use a multimeter. Start at one end and work your way back (or forward). Eventually you'll find a section where power isn't being sent. I'd start at the taillight.

If that were the case wouldn't I have lost running lights and turn signals too?

Edit: I replied to the wrong thread...

There will be different wire for brake lights and running lights thus the dual filament bulb.
