Hi Iam a new dyna owner ,07 street bob.
Just sold another toy and have a little cash to spend amd I want to buy a stage 1 set up for the bob and that is as far as i want to go.
So I'am fond of Vance & hines because I had a set of short shots on my 1200 roadster and I liked them.
can anyone one recomend a good set up like maybe a set of V&H pipes and a V&H fuel controller and some kind of air filter set-up that really works.
my last harley was a carb and I just had it rejeted and a K&N replacement filter in the original ham can and the V&H pipes and it worked really good no problems.
I have been reading different post on this and still confused
what combination works is the question?
and also should I wait untill my break in is done before I put all this on,or wait a while and get some miles on the bike( that will be hard to do) Just want to do it right this is my first BRAND NEW Harley, the others were used bikes all ready broke in.
Thanks Eno50
The shortshots are a good choice. I had them on my 1200c. I wanted them for my Bob but my wife bought me theV & HBig radius for christmas(beggers can't be chosers). As far as the others. I have the S/E round air cleaner & P/C III. It runs great.
Any of the V&H exhausts set-ups are great. I have the Bigshots Staggered, as do many of my friends, but to be honest, the V&H HS Slip-ons sound pretty impressive also. My buddies wife and sister put them on their Sportsters, and they sound incredible. I have the HD Screamin Eagle Stage 1, with the V&H Fuelpak. Easy to install, and pretty good performance.
I just installed the Vance Big Shot Staggereds. Thus far, I still smile when I crank the bike over. It sounds great at any rpm. I paired them with a Big sucker stage 2 and a Thundermax w/autotune. It runs PERFECT.
