Welcome to the forum from Oklahoma. Yes, you can put a later model 103" on the '07 model. You'll need a tuner to make it run right.

Sounds like a good deal. My 07 Dyna has over 98,000 miles on it, so don't worry about the mileage. Swap a newer engine? Hell no. Just keep what ya got and maintain it. When it get's tired, a simple bolt on big bore kit will give ya some more life and excitement. I know, just did a 105 Kit.

Sounds like a good deal. If no one has touched the jugs then do a big bore to 103" or 107" to freshen up the top end and have the heads cleaned. Will run like new. No need to replace the engine.

Thank you for the warm welcome y'all! I'll take some snap shots if I decide to go through with it.
I have two little beautiful kiddos is the reason I'm trying to stay on the unselfish side and not go big Willie style. Plus I figured it could be a good way to spend time w my boy.

Welcome from the west side of MI, land of tulips and home to a 257 year old Dutch windmill, still mills wheat into flour.
I'd open the cam chest a look at the cam chain shoes, thes are the hydraulic shoes and seem to wear more slowly, peace of mind item. Just upgrade/replace the wear items at your leisure.
