I recently bought one of these, a black one. The only stock photo that I have found online is this...http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/photo...GlideSport.jpg. It shows a decal above the line that runs along the center of the gas tank. Did the stock bike come with this ugly as sin decal?

The 2003 has a anniversary stripe along the side of the tank. The 2003 Emblem/badge is placed along the striped line.
There aren't any decals placed above the line and badge.
If you are asking about the grey line/decal above the 2003 badge in your picture,that is the light shining on the tank. It is not a decal.
It does look like it could be a decal, but it is definitely not a decal.

Hummmm.... if you just got one then you should be able to just look at your bike and see that there isn't a decal there.... makes me wonder if you even got one.... Can you say troll?

Not trolling. I love the look of this bike. I am using that stock photo as a screen saver and thought the reflection may have been an original decal. The bike has different pipes from new and a previous owner changed the seat.I'm gladthe stripingwas just a optical illusion. Guess I need to get the camera out and get some shots of it now.
