Default T-Bar install hand control wiring

Hey homies I am mounting a set of 14” T-bars on my 2001 FXDXT. I put new hand control switches inso I have all new wiring. Got the bike right to pieces and can’t find the 6 pin Deutsch connectors in the frame. What’s the Chinese secret here? I looked over the manual can’t find a pretty picture. Info it does have says they are located in the frame neck. I can’t feel the plugs in the sheathing either. Do I have to go all the way back to the main electrical bank under the seat and dig these out? Any help would be great and no I don’t want to cut and splice unless I absolutely have to. I have a long winter to figure this out. Thanks in advance.

Just did bars on my 03 wide glide. The connectors are pretty far down the backbone of the frame,

how far down at the base where it wish bones out for the seat? I’ve given them a tug and I have as much out of the neck that is going to come. I’m glad I’m replacing the harness cause the originals have been butchered a few times. Are the plugs exposed or under the rubber sheathing?

Mine are perpendicular to the backbone. power side is on the right. Load side on the left.
I just unpluged the load side and removed the pins.

The wiring harness needs pulled probably a foot out of the frame. You might need to take the rear fender off to feed the wires forward. Mine was just stuffed in the frame and pulled out but to put them back I had to take the rear fender off and pull the harness back into the frame.

That's just stupid. Had to be designed by an engineer.
