Been wanting to do it on my 06 FXDB for a while now. Guerrilla Cables now offers a harness to add a tach and relocate both gauges to the bars. Other than that, it just comes down to blocking stuff off and mounting. Hardcase performance offers a puck to fill the hole in the dash where the speedometer was, or a smaller company, KNS Customs, offers whole plates to cover the top of the dash. Lots of mount options, I like the Drag Specialties dual mount the most, PN#2210-0198. If you go with that mount, you'll need a gasket for the tach (you can reuse the gasket currently on your speedometer) and cushions for both gauges. Gaskets for the front of the gauges, cushions for the rear. Could be wrong as I'm going off the top of my head, but the gasket is PN#67121-95A and the cushion PN# is 67104-95; both are OEM Harley numbers. I haven't gotten around to it yet on my FXDB but I moved my gauges on my '18 FXLR up to the bars using a harness from Guerrilla, block off pucks from Hardcase, and the DS Dual Mount, nice stuff. Sold the bike though, realized I enjoyed my Dyna way more.
Thank you for the info man I really appreciate it . My tach is on the way and my buddy had a fxdx dual gauge bucket laying around he gave. My Guerrilla cables got here today and the gauge mount is from a accutronix , so other than that......... time to get down to business!!!!!!!!
