Default Need Help!

I have a 2004 dyna wide glide fuel injected! I started the bike and it turned off and won’t start back up the fuel pump isn’t turning on I checked relays and pump fuse everything is working but it will not prime when you turn to run position.. I tried checking for codes it says no response and yes I have it on run position I also have a dyno jet tuner and I plug that in to try reading the ecm and it says no ecu detected! Has anyone ever had this happen??

So you turn the key to run and flip the switch from stop to run and the fuel pump doesn't prime?

Sounds like the fuel pump doesn't get 12 v power input.

Try to locate connector 141B and check
if pin A gets 12 vb power input from the fuse
if pin 87 from the relay gives 12 v output

I don’t have a voltmeter handy this min. If it’s not getting 12v what does that mean it would be? Bike is about to get junked lol

Have you checked the ECM fuse? The power into the system relay comes from that fuse....

If you read 12 v at the output side of the fuse check if you have output at the connector to the fuel pump
If you read 12 v at the connector most likely your fuel pump is shot
If you do not read 12 v at the output side of the fuse put in a new one
If you do not read 12 v at the output side of the new fuse go to the input side of the fuse
If you read 12 v at the input side of the fuse and not at the output side could be caused by an interruption on the fuse board
If you do not read 12 v at the input side of the fuse could be caused by a damaged power line comming from the output side of the system relay; put in a new relay and check again

Had that happen on my '07. Turned out to be the system relay. About a $10 part. Something to try.
