Fuel pump issues
Im hoping someone can help or at least confirm what I believe to be the problem.
I have a 2001 Heritage Springer. It was running sweet till the other day when I went to start her.
Turn key switch all good
hitrun switch... no fuel pump whirrrrr ????
hit start button she ran for a second then died and wont start again.
but if I let it sit for half an hour, she will do the exact same thing again.
I checked the fuses, all fine then I replaced both relays.
Now when I hit the run button there is still no whirring sound from the pump but I can hear the relays tick in time .
I believe its the fuel pump itself that's died, would I be correct or is it something else ??? hope some one can help because im about to sell this bike and I don't want it causing dramas for its new owner..
