Default Shortest risers

I meant to do this when I had the apes installed, but was trying to keep to a budget.

I'm circling back to add short risers, and wonder if anyone ever used these, which I believe are the shorted risers out there:

I can't tell you how many different risers I've used but there's not a lot to go wrong. All they are is a block of metal, and unless you get a set of crappy Chinese ones you should be fine as long as you like the look and height. I've gotten parts from DS before and they seem to be of good quality.

Do you want to Lower or Raise the existing height?

Do you have integral risers? ... (It doesn't look like it in your Hard-to-See SIG pic.)

If you do NOT have integral risers and you are "Lowering" then those won't work

If you are trying to add that little bit to your existing risers so you don't have to get taller risers, then continue on

.

Those won't work for you ... those are "Special" riser extensions for raising handle bars on Top Trees with Integral (cast-in) risers

Look up Loner Industries Risers

Ah ok, guess I didn't see the "extensions" bit. You saved me time and trouble brother!

Did some more digging, found these, which have a slight offset, but have the 1" rise that I want...thoughts?

Those should work fine.

They only have 1/2" Rise

With that "Offset" or "pullback", you still get full thread insertion of the large mounting bolts while being lower than the STD Short risers (1.5 - 1.7" high)

.

I believe rise is distance from bottom to the center of the bar, no? If so these are 1" rise.

Ok 1" rise ... I was really just referring to with that only being ~1/2" (dimensionally) from the bottom of the riser to the bottom the bars that the offset allowed more large hold-down bolt thread insertion than if it was a straight riser

Yep, excellent point, didn't think of that, definitely gives more security for the bolt.
