Wide glide wheel options
Does anyone know what if any rear wheels from other bikes would fit a 2010 wide glide?
Replaced front with a breakout wheel (looks great) just want to change the rear for any used black non spoke wheel. Just want a black or easily altered to black wheel so it doesnt stand out that the front and back are different. Current chrome/silver spokes stands out.

yeah, scratch that did not realize they are that wide.

I put the breakout on the front and it looks great. Im trying to find something I can do with the back wheel. DTTJglide Mentioned a fat Bob, Im going to have to look into that.
Do you by chance know of the axle and everything are the same And would fit right in?

The FXDF rear wheel is 16x5 where your current wheel is 17x4.5, so you would need to get a 180/70-16 tire. The wheel itself will bolt on as long as it's ABS to ABS or non ABS to non ABS, otherwise you would just have to install the correct bearing if buying used. 08-13 were just polished & 14-17 were black, there's a used black one on ebay, item #254153163756, so you can see what it looks like. A new one is part #40900261 it would run about $500 from an online dealer + cost of installing the bearing & inner spacer.
