Went to change my oil today. Long story short my owners manul has a type-o the plug it told me to pull was really for the tranny fluid.That meant I had to make a 30 mile trip to the dealership for more oil & tranny fluid.When I was there I picked up a service manul to prevent any future F-UPS.

 

That's great. Hey, and if ya need to fix an electrical problem you can drop another $60 for the Electric Diagnostic Manual.

 

60.00 for the manual is cheap if ya work on your own bike, compared to 95.00 hr. shop Labor and you can use it over & over ....

Had the EXACT same thing happen... but I was ready just in case because I was changing primary and transmission fluid as well. Sure did make for some interesting vocabulary after I finally figured out that HD F-d' up the G0^ amn owners manual. I also was not a member of this site yet when this happened. Wish I hadda been now.
