Bulb vs Headlight Unit Upgrade?

Anyone have any recommendations on a good, clear, bright replacement headlight bulb? I've been weighing options between a bulb swap or just replace the headlight units all together. Anyone have any experience with the eBay daymaker style? They are 1/4 the cost, but I wonder if there's a reason they are so much less expensive than something like HogWorkz. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I run one of the eBay/Amazon daymakers, for the price they are really hard to beat - have had it on my bike for over 2 years with zero issues.

Those Phillips bulbs are definitely a good route if I opt to not go with the "dayfaker" setup!

Those of you who went with the eBay units - can you tell a difference in brightness or light quality? Any installation issues?

Matter of choice and the cheaper Daymaker Style may work fine for you .. No Regrets here going with the Hogworkz Daymaker V2, 2 1/2 Years & 20,000+ Miles of riding it in all types weather including FL monsoon rains and still shines as bright as the day I bought it ..
