Just curious. I'm guessing it will physically fit, but the mounting bracket wont because of the transmission differences? Any one ever adapt one to fit?
What about a soft tail exhaust in the correct year?
The reason I'm asking is I was looking at the Patriot Defender and for some reason the don't make a 2006+ for a dyna, but do for a soft tail.
I asked Patriot but the said they didn't know.

I just edited my post above. It's new going on an 08 Fat Bob. They are pretty cheap in comparison and hammer performance recommends them for Sportsters. Maybe more trouble than it's worth...idk
