Unknown plug found
Does anyone know what this plug is for? It was found hanging near the rear pipe and looked like it could fall and land against it and melt. So I worked it up into the space under the seat. Boy there are alot of wires in there.[:@]

Hard to tell from the description you give. The plug appears to have 5 slots but only 4 are used looking at the 4 wires.
What color are the wires? Someone with a 2007 WG (that what you got?) electrical diagram should be able to tell you if you give the wire colors.
Just me making a guess.....it looks like it could connect to your starter relay. But if that was the case then your bike would not be starting.
What does not work on the bike? If everything works, either trace the wires back to where they come from or just tuck it out of the way and continue to ride. If your machine runs fine and lights and all work then don't worry about it.....pg

Only thing that worried me was what would have happend it is fell against the hot exhaust. Everything is working on the bike. SO i just tucked it up with the rest of the wires under the seat.

It should have been wire tied up so it wouldn't fall and hit the exhaust.I found it before itdid but knowing my luck it would have melted while outriding in the boonies.....
