Being the NUG (New Ugly Guy) all I can say is that I have received a great welcome to this forum. I also have received very quick responses to my questions. I have used the search engine on her but it does seem to catch a lot that you have to weed through.
Also this forum has already saved me over a grand!! Now I can use the monies that I would have spent on labor costs on more chrome goodies.[sm=bling.gif]
I feel that its time for this forum to cater for newbie questions and more experienced questions, newbies need to be able to ask and be answered and the more experienced guys need to swap info as well. Its just my opinion and no doubt it will attract critics but as a rider onmy 5th harley and now into the new models this forum is not up to much. Its great for newbies but there is way too much common sense stuff clogging the arteries. Who gives a **** what a real biker is - just be your self and if your bike has real issues or if you have a great idea on a problem fix then share it for all to benefit. If you have useless crap to dribble then go to a forum that caters for useless crap dribble. If your offended then by a japper or throw darts at Australia on your dunny wall map. Seriously guys as an Aussie Harley owner and lover this forum's is 2 strokes short of a ****
maybe this:
useless dyna crap forum
new dyna ownerforum
dynatech forum
don't know how long this forum has been operating - but we're really lucky to have you around so you can dictate how the forum is run in the future!
It sounds to me like you've been spending too much time in the Off Topic area. Have you even been through the whole forum? Have you been to the tech areas? Have you pm'd one of our Techs with a question? If you don't like it here then contact me with your concerns. You bet you are going to get flamed here in the open forum with a statement like your's. This is a great place with many loyal members. Don't go into someone else's house and start crap. Try to fix the problem instead of complaining about it. Personally, I don't see a problem. Maybe you can clear that up for me........in a pm.
Stay in the model and problem specific sections. There is less BS and more information.
I see lots of great info given out to noobs and vets alike. Very rarely do I see posts go unanswered... except when they are so obscure it doesn't surprise me that nobody has an answer
