Default FXDLS Wheel Color Code?
Does anyone know if there is a powder coat code for the stock 16-17 Low Rider "S" wheels? I have a guy in my FXDLS facebook group that bought a used bike and the original owner painted them black. The new owner wants to powder coat them back to the original stock Gold(fish) color. Looking for a color code number.

Since the color has been described as "baby poop,"

I'd say the code is "#2."

Sorry I think it was a epoch fail too make or give the wheels a vintage magnesium look, they should have struck with the black and sliver.

I’m sure he can trade them to someone with originals as it’s not popular with the younger riders. That dislike for the color will make them valuable in the future

Powder coatings don't use codes and are sometimes very hard to match. There are some who can custom blend powders to match but they can be very expensive.

It may be far easier for a body shop to analyze the color and paint. them then put an automotive wheel satin clear coat over it for durability.

There was a thread with a link to buy the original Fxdls wheels. But I would call harley and ask them. I have an Fxdls and painted them black to and bought a set of the poop colored ones

Can't blame him for wanting to change back. I've seen Low Rider S wheels done black, red and brighter gold, none of them look right.
