So I have a 2009 Super Glide. I love the bike, but I hate that I have a key for ingition/fork lock. There has been times that I've stopped for gas killed the bike, turned the key to turn off the power dropped the key and it all most getting stuck in a crack/storm drain. I've resorted to just putting a key ring on it and attaching it to my brake cable. It has a security sensor on it. I have a key fob. Is there a way to take that whole key part out and just turn it into an ingition switch? Any advice will help. Thanks

That looks good. When you made your extension were you able to find a male packard connector that plugged into the existing connector that connect to the ignition switch or did you have to use another type like I had to? I am still looking for a male connector that will fit the stock connector if someone has a part number for that.

I cut and soldered the wires to lengthen. Used new female packards in the switch connector housing.
I thought I saw male connectors available on eBay when I was gathering all the nuts and berries to do the job.
