Default 2007 Ultra Classic lean

Just joined the forum. I bought a 2007 Ultra Classic from a friend of mine who bought it from a friend of his brand new. The guy had a list of all mods he had did and the bike had never been wrecked or anything. The first guy had it four years and my friend had it the last 8 years. I noticed when he first got the bike how much it leaned over on the stand. In fact we switched bikes one day at the gas station. I got on, let my wife get on and I dang near couldn't get it off the stand. He has always said it seemed to lean over to far to him but never checked into it. Not to long after he had it some dumbass backed into him in a parking lot. It bent the kick stand. He replaced it with the correct on he thought. I read on one of the threads here that some of the earlier models were fitted with the wrong stand. I am going to look through his paper work and see if I can find the part number on the stand he bought. It came from the Harley shop here. I can pick it up the way it is but I would like to find out what I can about it. I guess I could weld a spacer on the bottom of the stand to lift it up a little if it doesn't interfer with anything but if there is kickstand change that could be made and correct the lean I had rather do that. Anyone have any suggestion or part numbers. Thanks

There are "shim kits" available for some ... If I remember correctly there was an "HD fix" for some of the touring bikes because of a lean angle problem while on the jiffy stand ... Maybe someone's memory is better than mine
