Default Opening handlebar control modules to fix running light error code

Hey. Is it possible to open the left and right control modules to get into the wiring?

The reason I’m asking is I recently installed some new turn signals but they’re only set up to flash, not flash/run. So I’ve the blue/running light wire not connected to anything but it’s throwing an error code thinking a bulb is out.

I’d like to open up the switch housing, open up the control module and hopefully pull the pin for the blue wire out. Hopefully it’s not soldered to the circuit board.

Thanks in advance.

Unless I'm misreading this, just remove the screws holding the clamshells together.

Getting into the switch housing isn’t the issue. But I’d like to get into the electrical circuit board that controls the killswitch, start, right turn signal, etc and pull the pin for the running light, if it’s even possible. I don’t know. It might be soldered. The ECM might still throw an error code even if I pull the running light pin. Just kinda trying to get an idea if it’s even worth the effort to get in there or just live with the 2 error codes for the light bulbs.

The idea is to pull the running light pin in the hopes that the bike goes... oh he pulled the pin intentionally and doesn’t want running lights, let’s not throw the error code anymore then.

I doubt the bike has that level of reasoning ability...

(Pulling the wire is indistinguishable from a burned out bulb.)
