Talking 02 fxdl

I've found a gr8 lookin gr8 soundin, what appears to be a solid fxdl. can y'all give any clues as to what particular problems to look for on a 02 lowrider? I have only seen it and heard it in a video taken by the seller but, it has 30k miles and I donr see any rust or dings/scratches. any particular problems I should look for with this type of beast? I presently own a 2010 road king. b nice too have this for around town riding. had a 2010 fxdc, which was a gr8 bike. [shouldn't have sold it].

Take the cam cover off and inspect the cam chain shoes. The 02's are some of the stronger engines, built wise. There is a company that makes after market cam chain shoes. I had the hybrid cam plate installed on my 02 and it has a 95" kit with S/E 203 cams, has a nice little lope to it, it's not a rhythmic lope but has one none the less. The cam chain shoes are the most concerning look ats.
