Default Whos wrapped a Thunderheader?

I'm just trying to figure how much exhaust wrap I need. I know somebody's done this before I've seen it. I just want to know did you get it done with one roll or do I need two.Thanks.

Just buy two and return one if you don't need it or have a spare in the event you need to rewrap.

I had my Thunderheaders wraped by the Indy shop while they did some performance work on the motor. Pics in my profile

I,ve already ordered one roll at 50 ft, that seems like it should be plenty.I read the article on wrapping they only showed one roll in the picture and didn't mention that they needed two.

i wrapped mine all the way up to the reversion cone. took about 11/4 rolls. they sell it in a 2 roll pack and i would suggest buying it so you can rewrap the spots that drag. i usually put about 4 or 5 hose clamps on the bottom primary to protect the wrap for a little bit but eventually they grind through and hit the wrap again. enjoy the smell and the smoke on the first ride after putting it on also.

Just wondering, but doesn't wrapping the pipes act as an insulator increasingthe heat in the pipes and engine?
