Default RE: UnEven front tire wear?

Years ago I read an article about exactly that, One factor was that left turns are usually a bigger radius than right turns, so people tend to be going a little faster turning left (except of course British drive nations), another as some one mentioned, the dome shape of many roads to shed rain.BUT....some people get wear on the right side of the front tire: that blows both theories! Turns out its a left brain right brain kind of thing. If you are right handed, you will feel more comfortable and confident turning left. Left handed people, feel better turning right. So over the years people will corner a little more aggresively on the opposite side of their dominant hand. When I think about it I can be much more aggressive turning left than right; I am right handed. Check it out next time you ride, I would be courious to hear from everyone on this one.

have you check the fall out in your front end, might be miss aligned a little. use your service manual to check how to do it, not that hard to check. might be making your front end to favor one side more, caused bad tire side ware. jackyl

I did check the fallout today. It was right on the money.. But I did find out the problem. The tire was separating . It was hard to spot, but my indy found it . Feel a whole lot better now. Was driving me nuts, which wouldnt take much more. Thanks to everyone for their ideas and thoughts

The VTX guys say it's the road to.
I have 3 HD bikes and 1 VTX. The VTX is the only one that does it. So if it is the road why isn't my HD's doing it to?
I have read a lot about this and did a lot of research. The only thing that I see isthis: follow behind someone that has this problem-like a VTX-Goldwing, you will see the bike is not upright but on a angle.
None of my HD bikes do it.
I get 30,000+ miles on my Ultra front tire, My wide glide has 7,000 on the front tire and looks new.
just a thought.
I don't think anyone really knows.
Glad you found the problem. It is not normal for HD bikes to do it.

I ride with 2 other guys that have the same problem, as do I. With ours it is the right side. Mine is a WG with a 21", one is a Deuce with 21" and a Softail Standard also with a 21". All have Wide Glide forks and single rotor front brakes. None of my bagger buddies have this issue.

Anyone else have this problem and if ya did what was it? thanks for any input. Oh and before some smarta$$ says I turn left to much I do turn right!!!!!!!!!
