Im going to look at a 2002 tomorrow and it has spoked wheels. My friend thought that all Dynas had the mag wheels and maybe the owner had them switched out? Did Dynas have the option of a spoked wheel vs the mag?
^lol dont listen to this guy... that $10k bike is actually listed for $10,600, which is $3,600 more than your budget which is more than 50% of your budget (half of $7,000 is $3,500). Thats how dealers get you lol just a little more.
plenty of great bikes for $7k or less. I grabbed a 2004 FXDXI with 9k miles for $7k. Spotless.
$7k is a good budget. Plenty of decent at the $5-$6k range or get a fixer-upper for less, or put some aside for mods.

This guys speaks words of wisdom. You can absolutely get a nice Dyna for 7K.
Hello everyone. I'm a new member here, I just joined today. After attending an event at the local Harley dealership last November and test riding a Dyna, I was hooked. I've been keeping my eye out for a nice condition pre-owned Dyna pretty much for the last 8 or 9 months. I ran across a few nice deals out there, but I finally found and purchased this 2009 FXDC Super Glide Custom last week with 6600 miles on the OD. I paid 5900 for it. The condition of the bike looks amazingly new, no scratches or dents, rust or corrosion. The owner took meticulous care of the bike, rode once a week, stored indoors and never ridden in the rain. It pretty much was his Sunday ride. For me, being patient enough and watching the ads every week eventually paid off. It also came with a lot of extra accessories.
