Oddly, I also find that if I don't abuse the motor by lugging it it seems much happier, not to mention smoother.

My dog farted, it scared him so much he starting shaking...is my mount bad? Oh and what bars are those, how high bars can I go with stock cables, what oil should I use and other such dribble.....

At the dealerships where I worked Way too many Dyna sales resulted in disgruntled customers and many visits to the service department regarding vibration. I suggested to one customer that he might be happier with a Honda Gold wing or a Honda Civic.
Some people are sensitive to a specific frequency of vibration that another person might find perfectly acceptable.
The vast majority of the service department diagnostics were that the bike was experiencing normal vibration. Lots of services department non-billable hours lost due to a nonexistent issue. I think this more than anything else is why the Dynas are no longer being produced. This is sad because the Dyna was such a great platform.

Yes,if we all stopped posting about these none existent issues that we mistakenly think we have with our own Dynas which are actually perfect,then admin could shut the forum down,because it wouldn't be needed
Then we could all go out riding more or waste our time on Guitar or Amp forums,but wait then if all our Guitars & Amps where perfect like our Dynas,we wouldn't need those Forums either.
