Noise from primary side.
Hey guys. I am having an issue with noise coming (from what sounds like) primary side. It’s a whirring (inconsistent - not like bearings) noise that happens only under lod and in gear while moving. It’s very similar to the noise I had when my cam tensioners failed. But the cam tensioner noise was always there - neutral and all.. this sound is only when I’m moving. It can be heard worst after engine is real hot and when decelerating. I checked primary tension this morning but it looked good to me. Haven’t checked tranny fluid level etc. but I’m baffled. Cam chain tensioners were just replaced. Primary seems like it has decent slack 🤷*♂️ Dyna wide glide 2002. Twin cam with 95 big bore and Andrews cams.
