Get a new battery. You can always return it if I’m wrong.

heads up its a silly one to explain but here goes,
Will not start at all and doesnt even try, switch on full ignition lights, fuel pump noise but nothing when start button pressed, clutch pulled in, side stand up, and in neutral still nothing,
one thing to mention is when it refuses to start I also lose right indicator and also hazard lights, Because I lose Rt indicator I cannot use the code to start the bike,
Further to this next time all will be ok then it does it again thus meaning after having to be recovered a few times I cannot trust it,
checked everything I can check, local Harley repair garage checked it for me after being recovered there but was one of the few times it decided to run and the guy couldnt get it to miss a beat,
One day she works without fault each time I enter the garage, next day without anything changing or even the bike having moved it wont !!
I will listen to all advice on this and try almost anything you can suggest wits end !!!
Thanks TEZ

Annoying thing is went into garage today first time everytime she started, tomorrow may be different result and nothing, When she doesnt start i get full ignition lights etc all good until you press start button and nothing !! at the same time I lose right indicator and hazard lights (all on same right hand control ) when having tried continuous and you give up turn off ignition seconds later security system sets and both front indicators flash (both work )
Pinched wire in your right hand control housing. Probably makes connections sometimes when you turn the bars and it starts. Other times it loses the connection and doesn't start. I would take the right housing apart and see if a wire is pinched between the housings or the coating is rubbed off where it enters the handlebars

No, buying parts is not the way to troubleshoot.

Charge your battery and have it load tested.

I had the same problem and troubleshooted everything that I thought might be the problem. Went trough the wiring, fuses and relays. Tested the battery and it was still good, at least thats what it showed. Well, ended up that the oem hd battery was old and didnt had enough cranking power. I got a aftermarket battery just because oem sucks and are way overpriced. Started right away with way better power.

Im not saying that buying parts is the way to troubleshoot either...

The battery should be load tested. I had a similar issue with my 12 FXDF (but mine threw the VIN ERR code). Battery was junk even though it held over 12volts. New battery solved the problem for me.

This is what I was thinking too. Start switch and right indicator switch in the same housing.

Sounds like it's a bad connection. I know others have said it but I would go back and check the battery cables on both ends. My brothers bike had a similar issue and it turned out to be the cables poorly mounted to the battery. Here's something to try...did you attempt to put a jump to it? A simple jump box just to check. That would prove you've got a bad connection associated with the battery. Make sure the jump clamps are on the wires and not just the battery.

My 2 cents,
Steve

Take a look at your controls. I'm not use to working on newer bikes and I don't know what's going on exactly but it's a no brainier to me to fix that issue. It's related somehow.
