I have a 93 FXRS-CONV that I'm changing all my lights to LED. The more I look at load equalizers the more confused I get on what I need to buy. Needless to say the overthinking bug hit my brain. My tail lights, brake, and run lights are all a combo set I just got, headlight is LED, and front signals are going LED too. Could a few of you that have converted all the lights on your 93 FXRS to LED please inform me what load equalizer you are using?
First you only need the Load Equalisers for your signal lights.
As the TSM need the extra load to function. only need 2 and
you install them on the turn signal wires under the seat. front or rear wires
it doesn't matter. They're small.
But I added a Custom Dynamics module the make my rear turn only
Run/Brake/Turn and replaced the lens' with red. The Load Equaliser is built in to the module.
If you want normal function you just need the load equalizer. I suggest a digital one like Custom Dynamics sells as it doesn't heat up like the passive resistor type. Unfortunately they don't make them with the pre-97 Dyna harness connector though so you will have to manually wire it in. https://www.customdynamics.com/unive...ualizer?cat=59
If you want the fancy flashing stuff that integrates your turns to the brake light then they don't have a universal version of that.
