07 Dyna: low idle

I think my Dyna is idling too low. It doesn't stall, but seems like it is close at times. How low is too low. I do not have a tach, so I cannot verify rpms at this time. Is a trip to the dealer in order here?

Depends on the year (specifically carbureated or F.I.) a carbd' bike will most times idle lower 800 ora little higher. An F.I. bike will idle at 1K or there abouts unless the setting has been changed. Take it to the stealer and let them check it if its new.

Screaming Eagle --- I thought that the EITMS was only programmed if you requested it. Unless that's not what you're talking about. I remember reading somewhere that when the EITMS is activated at idle it will smell funny too.
Buya Low Rider...tach comes standard! Mine usually idles right around 1000 RPM. I think the service manual says it should be at 1050 RPM....but maybe I read that here.
