Lord as I go for a ride on this beautiful day, I ask that you keep all women on cell phones, all drunk drivers, all the idiots who can't drive, away from me and my sweeeeeeet ride,and please give me the patienceI'll need so if I get cut off I don'tyank someone out of thier car in a fueled up road rage..Amen..... I usually say a prayer also, before as I'm getting ready to ride, to help me get my thoughts together.

I say one every once in a while before leaving out but try real hard to say thanks after I get there. Also, I have the "Don't ride faster than your angel can fly" bell for a little extra help.

Not only a lot of fun to ride, but a great time to reflect!! I pray with anyone who will let me share that time befire I roll the throttle, and then settle back and praise God for His faithfulness and love. When the beauty of His creation around youis no longerreal ... you're out of focus. Stop, think, and pray a little more...... you'll be surprised how much He will reveal to you. The Joy of the Lord is my strength.

I may not pray before I start but as soon as I feel the beauty of the ride, I say a prayer of thanks for the day, then a prayer to keep me alert to the dangers that may come up during the ride. Can't expect HIM to do all the work. Of course when you get home a prayer of thankd is a must.
Maybe it the way "old guys" look at life.
