prayer
Honestly ... I never have ...
Im not going to say I believe, and Im not going to say that Im a die hard non believer ... I am honestly not sure what to believe ... Im trying to find that in myself I guess ... Im only 22 years old ... and I have seen people suffer, that did not deserve it, and I've seen people make it ... that did not deserve it ... Im honestly torn on what to believe

I haven't been ... in fact I haven't been praying much at all lately, or gettting to church either. Which really sucks now that I think about it. I'm not working this Sunday, I'm planning a little trip, but hopefully wherever I am I'll make it to mass.
Thanks for the reminder!

Thank you, Bear64, for your words. Yes, I'm doing the bootstrap thing and doing OK.
While I'm not religious, time has taken some of the edge off of life, and I do indeed have many things to be thankful for. I have my precious Godchild, my incrediblefiancee, my health (not even a cold in 10+ years), a beautiful home and shop, financial security, and of course, mySuper Glide! For me, times are better than they have been in quite a few years. I'm 48, drug-free for the first time in 35 years, and have so much to enjoy and look forward to....
I'm still an atheist, though. I respect the beliefs of anyone else, but I have tobe honest.
Ride free, ride often.

1nuckenfut,
Guess I should have thought twice before typing once. My "no one wants to be in my way" statement came across a little stronger than intended.
Evenwhen driving one of mycages, I find the drivers around here (and many other places, I'm sure)to beamazingly incompetent and scary as hell. On the Glide, I have NO tolerance for the idiotic antics seen on a far-too-regular basis. While I now actually give a frig about life itself, for the first time in a few years,I-m still prone to expressing myselfstrongly when confronted withdeadly incompetance on the road. This would also include the times I'm trying my damndest to get back to my terminally ill mother while on the way back from the pharmacy. Riding behind an inconsiderate ******* doing24 in a 55 zoneincreases the odds that my mom will get up and break a hip or something before I can get back to her.
Therefore, I'm notinclined to being kind to such drivers. Know that I'm NOT looking for trouble of any kind, but that my BS tolerance level is very low. Yeah, I know it's not wise to instigate anything while being outweighed 10 to 1 on the highway, but just damn. I just domy best to get around anyone impeding me and usuallydon't even respond with the old "one fingersalute".Just in case, I always "pack" if you know what I mean. I'll do whatever it takes to avoid trouble, butany ragerwho catches me running away from them to avoid trouble will need helpfrom the God I don't believe in! I have stared into the face of death enough times to not be scared of S#!t!!
Anyway, live and let live....
