I have the same pipe on my 07 street bob. I had a hard time getting the head pipes to fit to the muffler cone and bracket. I eventually did get it to work, but it was a pain. Also, I bought my bike used with the forward controls on it, and even though the site says it works with forwards, the brake linkage hit the pipe, so I had to make a new linkage. With forwards, the pipe catches me in the leg, which is also annoying. Other than those gripes, it looks good, sounds mean, and with the canned tune I got for it, it hauls a lot better than the stock pipes.

No real issues with my RR3 on my 2000 DX in about 4 years. I have the pipe on and off pretty frequently, and have never had any issue with sealing. The bracket cracked about two years in (well out of warranty), and they quickly sent out an upgraded bracket without charge. No further issues.

I think it sounds good, performance is strong in mid and high rev ranges, the stainless is nice, it doesn't weigh nearly what pipes with full shields do, and ground clearance is a non-issue for me. No idea how much of this may or may not be different on a later bike.

I have the pipe and my only gripe is the ground clearance. I have 13 inch shocks with mids and I scrape quite a bit because how the pipe goes under the controls. You will get a better lean angle with other models.

I'm really surprised to hear this... Stock DX shocks are about 13.5", but my Avon Cobras have quite a bit more available lean angle than the OEM Dunlops. I have almost no chicken strip in the back (less than half an inch), and nothing has ever hit the ground. My pegs sit about a half inch higher than stock, and the outside edge of my boot touches the ground before any part of the bike does.

the road rage has several variations and they seem to be very different in shape, length etc.

The heat shields are the issue. On a rr3 it’ll be a little harder to scrape since they don’t run full shields. Honestly those riders who scrape will scrape anyways since they are in the 5% of extremely aggressive riders. 13.25 shocks and have about an 1/8 in of chicken strips on my rear night dragon no scrape yet
