I was trying to help another forum member with an issue concerning a hub he was given, supposedly off a '90's Sporty, which is the same hub as (many years) an Evo FXD (tapered Timken bearings).
Having no post '99 sealed bearing hub to go by myself, was the origin of my query, thinking a late model / sealed bearing hub rotor may work.
After starting this thread, I learned he had mis-measured the hub spigot as 2-1/4, rather than 2-3/8. After some more searching I found only the '82-'83 front wheel used a 2-3/8 center hole rotor. So after already having installed new bearings, the "free" hub he has is useless since the 2-3/8 hole rotors are only made in 10" versions.
Yes, the spigots were ...
"Biggest" (83-earlier to a point)
"Smallest" (84-99)
"Medium" (2000-later)
That can and has screwed up people before ...
For example, they will be all excited about "scoring" a 9-spoke front Mag to replace a laced spoke on their 84-99 Narrow-glide only find out that their rotors won't fit
Your picture of those particular calipers (and Not that they are Vernier) and with an "Actual" measurement gave me a chuckle ... (and others who do precision measuring in the U.S.)

Also t150vej those 10" front rotors have been used before '82 ... since the very early 70's
