Default Throttle cable

Greetings. So, does 32" sound about right for the length of a throttle cable on a '99 SuperGlide? Also, am I correct that the pull cable and push cable are the same length? I'm looking online and some places have "+6" or "+8". How do I know what the original length is that +6 is added to? Thanks in advance.

38 1/2" long is a +6. So 32.5'' would be the stock length.
