Default Throttle Cable Removal

Ok. Been a while since I did this.

How do you get the cables out of the housing.

Thought I'd ask if anyone has a secret before I take the dremmal to that little clip.

Just give them a good yank and they will come out with no damage.

Yup, just put some pressure on them and pull and they pop right out.

are you talkin bout getting the cable ends out of the throttle tube???
or actually pulling the steel cable through the cable housing?

What I found that helps, is using a small screwdriver to push on the side of the retaining clip in the housing while pulling. Hope this helps...Mark

It took all I had to get them things out.

All that crap and the cables were the wrong ones.

Well It is off to the dealer early in the morn.

Don't stuff like that tick you off.
