Just bought a 2012 Switchback from Sheldon's Harley Davidson in Auburn Mass with only 6,000 miles. What a great group, could not recommended them anymore, everyone was so nice and knowledgeable. Josh my salesman was excellent.
All my wife's idea to get a bike today. Haven't been on a motorcycle in about 15 years .. COULD NOT BE ANY HAPPIER!
Congrats man, the switchback is a great bike, I considered one for myself but ended up with the low rider instead. Some days I still wish I would have gotten one.
Thanks guys! I am totally excited. Been a very long time since I rode. I plan to take a safety course they offer as well as join HOG (Harley Owners Group) and go for weekly Sunday rides with everyone. I have driven by the store on Sunday doing errands or whatever and always saw a lot of people there, should be fun.
Welcome and congratulations; looks like a great bike and it sounds that you are going to have a ball on it and a nice wife to boot that helped you get it!
Good to see your enthusiasm for it and riding, you done real good there
Thanks for the warm welcome. Anything I should be worried about on the Switchback? Saw on the internet about a rattle on the muffler and general vibration issues ... the test ride, while not very far, didn't show any of those issues.
Its stock right now, thinking about getting a single saddle for it (probably a Sport Bob seat, they look great), new Air Cleaner cover (want a crome round one, or maybe a tear drop), new grips, a tachometer, and more crome (especially after the instrument panel).
