All you can do is disconnect plugs and reconnect one at a time till the fuse blows that will give you the circuit to check. Your manual will tell you whats on that circuit.
I'm not sure what you mean by a battery fuse. There is no fuse for the battery itself.
You can find the fuse diagram on the inside of the fuse box cover.
I have a friend that happened to. Every time he turned the key on it would pop the fuse. We were stuck out in the country when this happened and one guy that was with us found a fork on the side if the road and stuck it in there where the fuse went. After a quick turn of the switch on and off we installed the fuse and no more problem. I thought he would burn the bike down, but it didn't. Something was stuck somewhere on the bikes ( maybe a relay ? ).
I think it was a wiring problem somewhere that the wires run into the fairing along the neck of the frame. I had wriggled the harness along there so don't really know. why it took off again. Problem never surfaced again and he traded the bike off later that year.
